Taiwan’s Walsin Lihwa, a stainless steel wire manufacturer, has announced a price hike for Sep’25, raising 304 stainless steel wire rods by TWD 4,000/t ($130/t) and 200 series by TWD 1,000/t ($32/t). Surcharges on 316 were also lifted by TWD 1,000/t, while 400-series prices remained unchanged. The revision reflects higher raw material costs and currency depreciation. With European customers returning post-summer, demand recovery is anticipated.
