Medium-carbon silico manganese (Mn 53%, Si 20%, C max 0.5%) prices in India edged down by INR 300/t w-o-w to INR 83,800/t ($956/t) exw-Durgapur as of 28 Aug’25. Prices dropped due to sluggish demand from steelmakers, limited spot purchases, keeping buyer sentiment weak despite stable production and raw material availability. Offers ranged between INR 83,000-85,000/t ($947-970/t), with deal concluded for 700 t in the range INR 83,000-84,000/t ($947-959/t).
