Indian Billet sellers worried on inventory pressure

Punjab: Manufacturers at Mandi Gobindgarh report about enough availability of stock. On account of this, they are undecisive either to sell at lower prices or wait for market to show some direction. Offers are unchanged at Rs 34,000/MT today.

West Bengal: Whereas, those at Durgapur are planning to stop production if buying volumes show no signs of improvement by this week.

Some plants are already shut due to maintenance reasons. Billet offers remain same.

South: Sales of Billet are weak in Chennai and Karaikal and money in the system is less. Prices remain firm.
