Europe: Outokumpu hikes stainless steel surcharges for Sep’25

Outokumpu has released its surcharges for flat alloy products for Sep’25 deliveries, with hikes for the majorly traded stainless steel grades. Post-revision, prices were as follows:

• 304 (EN 1.4301) series: $2,192/t, up $48/t m-o-m.
• 316L (EN 1.4404): $3,725/t, up $112/t m-o-m.
• 430 (EN 1.4016): $1,149/t, up $10/t m-o-m.

The company’s annual melt production capacity is 2.55 mnt. Cold-rolled/hot-rolled strip production is 1.6 mnt/year.
