Pig Iron prices remain unchanged in Indian market due to falling steel prices, which has corrected
around Rs 2,500-3,000/MT in last one month.
A
senior official at RINL said, “Steel Grade is being quoted at Rs
25,000/MT (Basic price) and buying is not taking place in good quantities.
Pig Iron is being
offered at Rs 24,300/MT for buyers who are interested to lift 10,000 tons
before 31st July”.
Market players expects RINL
to get a weak response for its export tender at the end of this month as Pig Iron prices are under tremendous pressure.
