India: Over 160,000 t of iron ore to be auctioned from Karnataka

Karnataka will see auctions for around 165,000 t of iron ore.

• Vedanta: 1,000-t fines (Fe 42.5%) on 18 Aug.
• NMDC Donimalai: 32,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 55%) and 16,000-t fines (Fe 56%) on 19 Aug.
• NMDC Kumaraswamy: 64,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 59.35-59.71%) and 52,000-t fines (Fe 60.04-60.72%) on 20 Aug.

Prices are yet to be declared. Except for Vedanta, all companies’ prices will include royalty, DMF, and NMET.
