Iron ore fines (Fe 62%) spot prices fell by $0.7/dmt to $103.3/dmt CFR China on 13 Aug’25. The dip came as sluggish trade left traders cautious about which brands to offer. With import losses mounting, many are holding back until the market direction is clearer. However, sintering curbs are still supporting lump demand, and mills remain keen buyers, an international trader said.
