Low trading volumes in Chinese local market accounted for a major fall in Pig Iron imports and exports in China for the month of June.
Imports of Pig Iron in China drop by around 28%, to 30,462 t and exports by around 81%, to 9,310 t in June, according to China Customs data.
195,474 t of the material was imported at US $479/t and total exports at US $476/t was 155,245 t for the period Jan'12 to Jun' 12.
