China: Steel billet prices up RMB 10/t ($1/t) d-o-d

  • Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan increased by RMB 10/t ($1/t) to RMB 3,090/t ( $430/t) from the previous day’s RMB 3,080/t ($429/t, including VAT), while SHFE Oct25 rebar futures remians edge up by RMB 1/t ($0/t) to RMB 3,234/t ($450/t).
  • Iron ore prices rose by $1-2, supported by rising rebar futures and improved demand in the finished steel segment.
