Bangladesh: Non-coking coal imports surge 66% m-o-m in Jul’25

Bangladesh’s non-coking coal imports stood at 1.3 mnt in Jul’25, registering a significant 66.1% growth from 0.78 mnt in Jun’25. On a y-o-y basis, imports surged by 24.1% from 1.05 mnt in Jul’24. Indonesia remained the dominant supplier, exporting 1.25 mnt of shipments, up by 59.3% m-o-m, followed by South Africa which supplied 0.05 mnt.
