In Q4FY’25 (Apr–Jul’25), Jupiter Mines recorded an 8% q-o-q decline in manganese ore production from its Tshipi mine, down to 0.78 mnt from 0.85 mnt, due to global economic uncertainty, trade tariffs, and weak steel demand. However, sales rose by 40% q-o-q to 1.08 mnt, driven by prior price gains, improved export activity, and stable freight rates encouraging buyer interest.
