India: Ferro chrome export prices hold steady w-o-w

Indian ferro chrome export prices to China remained flat w-o-w at 88 cents/lb CNF. Weak import demand, driven by pricing gaps coupled with market uncertainty, especially around US-China trade negotiations, led Indian sellers to adopt a wait-and-watch approach. Prices to Japan held steady at 91 cents/lb CNF despite sluggish downstream demand, while South Korea also saw no change at 89 cents/lb CNF.
