“India will not be an importer of pellets in long term”- Steel Producers

There were concerns on India being an importer of iron pellets after 2 vessels were imported on Indian east coast last month.

In response, major steel producers see India as a net exporter of pellets in long term looking at increasing capacity and government tightening screws on illegal mining and discouraging iron ore exports.
