Mixed Sentiments Prevail in Indian Structure Market

Indian secondary structure manufacturers this week has reported mixed price sentiments in domestic market. Light and heavy structure prices in west and central India have moved down by INR 100-400/MT W-o-W. On the other hand, offers in north and south regions have moved up by INR 200-500/MT in the duration.

However, sources reported that east market i.e Durgapur has remained stable.

Major price rise of INR 500/MT is noticed in Hyderabad, followed by Gaziabad (INR 200/MT). Trade discount in central India, Raipur is heard at INR 500/MT at the quoted price.

Meanwhile, billet offers in week 33 have plunged down by INR 250-950/MT and currently hovering in the range of INR 18,500-22,350/MT.

100×100 mm angle offers are reported in Durgapur at INR 24,900/MT (0), Ahmedabad at INR 25,000/MT (-100), Raipur at INR 24,000/MT (-400) and Hyderabad at INR 25,500/MT (+500).

While, 200×75 mm channel and 200×100 mm beam in Ghaziabad are available at INR 27,600/MT and INR 27,100/MT, registered an uptick of INR 200/MT W-o-W in offers.

The same size channel offers in Durgapur are assessed at INR 24,600/MT (0), INR 25,200/MT (-100) in Ahmedabad, INR 25,700/MT (-300) in Mumbai and INR 23,500/MT (-700) in Raipur.
