Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) is the India’s largest steelmaker and produces a variety of steel and iron products including Pig iron, flat and long products and special steels at its plants spread over India.
The company has invited a tender for purchase of 51,450 MTR ISI marked Galvanized MS Pipes of different sizes from reputed indigenous manufacturers at Bhilai Steel Plant. The delivery of the material should be completed by 30 Nov’16 in a staggered delivery manner.
The offer given by the bidder shall remain valid for minimum 90 days from the date of tender opening. Department can also conduct the two stage reverse auction for finalizing the price bid. In this case, the price shall be valid for minimum 30 days from the date of reverse auction.

Packing & marking
1. Material shall be supplied with manufacturer’s marking along with test certificate.
2. Material should be with end caps/plugs.
3. Material should be protected from mechanical damages during transportation, shipment and storage.
4. Material of sizes up to 25 mm shall be properly bundled, labeled and marked with tag with company’s name thereon for identification.
