Vedanta auctioned 16,000 t of iron ore from Karnataka on 19 Jul’25. 4,000 t of lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 52.5%) were booked at INR 2,450/t (base prices) and 12,000 t lumps (6-20 mm, Fe 54.5%) at INR 3,720/t (INR 320/t premium) ex-mines. Prices are exclusive of taxes. Another auction is scheduled for 23 Jul, with 4,000 t of lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 53.25%) and 8,000 t of lumps (6-20 mm, Fe 52.75%) to be offered.
