India’s medium-carbon silico manganese prices (Mn: 53%, Si: 20%, C: 0.5% max) dipped by INR 800/t ($9/t) w-o-w to INR 83,500/t ($972/t) exw-Durgapur on 17 Jul’25. Offers ranged between INR 83,000-84,000/t ($966-977/t), with a deal for around 370 t concluded within INR 83,500-83,800/t ($972-975/t). Muted steel demand led to need-based buying, causing prices to drop, while weak export inquiries added further pressure.
