South African RB2 (5500 NAR) portside offers climbed to INR 7,700/t and RB3 (4800 NAR) to INR 6,700/t, both up INR 100/t, driven by global index gains amid supply issues such as rail outages and RBCT maintenance for 20-25 days. Despite firm offers, buyers moved slowly as some DRI producers cut output and the steel market remained weak. Higher freight costs also limited price acceptance.
