Billet prices increased due to positive policy news, rising rebar futures, and lower inventories, which indicated better sales.
SHFE rebar futures (Oct’25) increased nominally by RMB 5/t ($1/t) on 14 Jul’25 to RMB 3,138/t ($438/t) against 11 Jul’25.
