Vedanta Ltd conducted an auction for 12,000-t iron ore lumps from its A. Narain mines in Karnataka on 11 Jul’25, with a premium of up to INR 500/t. The entire quantity was sold, with 4,000 t (10-40 mm, Fe 53.25%) and 8,000 t (6-20 mm, Fe 52.75%) receiving bids of INR 3,080/t (INR 2,600/t base price) and INR 2,500/t (base price), respectively. Prices were set exclusive of royalty, DMF, and NMET.
