Carbon Resources, a leading Indian producer of carbonaceous raw material, has entered a joint venture to set up a 50,000 t per annum ferro silicon plant in Bhutan. Powered by renewable hydro energy, the facility is expected to be completed by mid-2026. This marks a significant capacity boost for Bhutan’s ferro silicon industry, following the recent commissioning of another facility in the region.
