Turkiye: Imported scrap prices edge up in fresh deals

Turkiye’s imported scrap prices edged up w-o-w to $340-347/t CFR against $338-343/t, with US-origin offers at over $350/t.

Recent deals (all CFR prices)

• 20,000-t UK-origin HMS 80:20 – at $340-341/t to an East Marmara-based mill.
• Europe-origin HMS 80:20 – at $335-342/t to an East Marmara-based mill.
• US-origin HMS 80:20 – at $347/t to an East Marmara-based mill.
• Russia-origin HMS 95:05 and bonus – at $345-348/t to a West Black Sea-based mill.
