Sandur Manganese and Iron Ores (SMIORE) has scheduled an auction for 72,000 t of iron ore from Karnataka on 28 Jun’25. The material comprises 14,000 t (5-20 mm, Fe 55.1-56.7%), 16,000 t (20-40 mm, Fe 54.5-58.2%), 26,000 t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 55.5-57.5%) and 16,000 t fines (Fe 53-56.3%). In its last auction on 18 Jun, 44,000 t lumps (5-40 mm, Fe 54-58.2%) and 16,000 t of fines (Fe 53-57.8%) were booked at INR 3,470-5,200/t and 2,710-3,780/t respectively (including taxes).
