Japan Seisen announces July price cuts on stainless steel wire

Japan Seisen, a leading stainless steel wire manufacturer based in Chuo-ku, Osaka, has announced price revisions for its July contracts.

The company will reduce prices for nickel-based stainless steel wire (SUS304) by JPY 15,000/t ($94/t), while prices for chromium-based wire (SUS430) remain unchanged. This adjustment follows recent wire rod price changes by suppliers.

Further reductions have been applied to special steel grades: SUSXM7 by JPY 25,000/t ($157/t), SUS303 by JPY 20,000/t ($126/t), SUS316 by JPY 30,000/t ($188/t), and SUS310S by JPY 40,000/t ($251/t).

With demand sluggish and uncertainty surrounding US tariffs on exports such as automobiles, Japan Seisen plans to monitor market trends closely and respond accordingly.
