In Jun’25, the RMDAS ferrous scrap index, reflecting spot prices for steel mills and foundries in the US, witnessed a slight uptick. The index recorded the following price adjustments compared to the previous assessment on 21 May:
- Shredded scrap increased by $2/t to $380/t.
- Prompt industrial composite scrap rose by $3/t to $441/t.
- HMS inched up by $1/t to $333/t.
