Jitendra Kumar Kushwaha emerged as the highest bidder for the Bhanjikusum manganese block in Odisha auction by offering a premium of 162%. The block, of around 8.134 Ha, is located in Sundargarh district, and has geological resources of 97,044.3 t. The mine comprises deposits of average-grade Mn: 11.34 % at 10% cut off.
