Rungta Sons Pvt. Ltd. emerged as the highest bidder for the Jhumka-Pathiriposhi West iron ore block auction offering a premium of 107.10%. The block, of around 209.166 Ha, is located in Sundargarh district, Odisha and has geological resources of 92.18 mnt. The mine comprises deposits of average-grade Fe 58.86%. However, it could not be confirmed from the company officials at the time of publishing.
