Recent hike by US in HR Coil yet to materialize

US HRC – Recent hotrolled coil price increases have yet to fully sink into the US supply chain, however this could change in the near future. HRC prices are up $110/st since early July on the back of another AK Steel price hike of $30/st on HRC, yet transaction prices do not fully reflect the price hikes and instead look to be keeping prices stable for the time.

CFR Turkey Scrap – Turkish scrap prices continue to rise as a Turkish mill has booked a cargo of 80:20 blend at $417/t CFR Izmir from a US East Coast supplier.
