Tokyo Steel has adjusted scrap procurement prices for the second time this month, effective 4 Jun’25. Prices were reduced by up to JPY 500/t ($3/t) at the Kyushu and Kansai plants, while remaining unchanged at the rest of the facilities. Post-revision, H2 scrap prices are as follows:
- Kyushu: JPY 39,500/t ($276/t).
- Kansai: JPY 40,500/t ($284/t)
