India’s Manganese alloys production and exports

Domestic manganese alloy production increased by 15% year-over-year to 0.45 million tonnes in April, compared to 0.39 million tonnes in April 2024. Moreover, exports of manganese alloys from India increased slightly by 6% y-o-y to 0.17 mnt in April. These factors favoured higher ore imports in April.
