Nepal: Rebar offers remain range-bound, import duty on WRC increases 5%

Nepal’s rebar offers remained range-bound w-o-w, hovering at NPR 85,000-86,000/t ($621-628/t) for cash guarantee sales and NPR 87,000-88,000/t ($635-643/t) for bank guarantee ones. Furthermore, coiled wire rod offers were at $490/t exw-Durgapur for IF-EAF-route products, while those for BF wire rods stood at $550/t exw. Additionally, the import duty on WRCs has increased from 5% to 10%.
