India: IMFA’s ferro chrome production dips 1% y-o-y in FY’25

Indian Metals and Ferro Alloys Ltd (IMFA) posted a 1% decline in ferro chrome production to 260,190 t in FY’25 from 264,119 t in FY’24, mainly due to elevated chrome ore prices and supply constraints. Additionally, ferro chrome production in Q4FY’25 stood at 65,101 t, largely stable q-o-q. Meanwhile, chrome ore production rose by 5% y-o-y to 701,863 t in FY’25.
