India: NMDC to auction over 200,000 t of iron ore from Chhattisgarh

NMDC will auction over 205,000-t iron ore from Chhattisgarh on 29 May’25:

• Bacheli: 17,200 t DRCLO (10-40mm, Fe 67%), 4,000 t lumps (10-20 mm, Fe 65.5%) and 189,200 t Baila fines (Fe 64%).
• In NMDC’s 22 May’25 auction, only 21,500-t DRCLO (10-40 mm, Fe 67%) were booked at INR 7,480/t  against the base price of INR 7,270/t. Prices were on FOR, ex-stockpile/mines basis, including royalty, DMF, NMET.
