Steel billet and rebar prices in Iran continued to rise, driven by prolonged power outages in key manufacturing regions. However, in the absence of fresh stimulus and muted market activity, the rally may soon begin to lose steam.
- Billet prices rose to 339,000 Rial/kg on 26 May, up 10,000 Rial/kg from 21 May.
- Rebar prices rose to 395,000 Rial/kg, up 6,000 Rial/kg on 26 May as against 21 May.
