SAIL’s Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) conducted an auction for 6,100 t of steel-grade pig iron on 24 May’25, in which the entire quantity was booked at a base price of INR 32,100/t exw. This shows an increase of INR 100/t compared to the previous auction on 19 May, in which 1,900 t was sold at INR 32,000/t exw.
