Nepal’s rebar offers decreased by NPR 1,500/t ($11/t) w-o-w to NPR 85,000-86,000/t ($623-630/t) for cash guarantee sales and NPR 87,000-88,000/t ($638-645/t) for bank guarantee ones. This price drop led to an improvement in buying activity. Coiled wire rod offers were at around $495/t exw-Durgapur for IF-EAF-route products, while offers for BF wire rods stood at $550/t exw.
