Shree Cement wins coal linkage of 80,000 MT per annum for its Chhattisgarh Cement plant.
Shree Cement had participated recently in the coal linkage auction for cement sector conducted by CIL. The company had won the bid from SECL for coal linkage supply of 80,000 MT coal per annum.
The SECL will supply the contract quantity from new Kusmunda mine at INR 970/MT. The company had won the yearly coal linkage in Chhattisgarh for its state based Cement plant.
Although the company is likely to set up a 2.8 MnT per annum clinker plant at its integrated cement plant in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Also its expansion of 3.6 MnT grinding unit at Aurangabad (Bihar) has completed which was running earlier with the capacity of 2 MnT per annum.
