India: South African RB2 prices at Paradip hit 4-year low amid weak buying

South African RB2 (5500 NAR) thermal coal prices at Paradip dropped by INR 300/t w-o-w to INR 7,950/t ex, around a 4-year low, last seen in May’21. Meanwhile, RB3 (4800 NAR) slipped by INR 200/t w-o-w to INR 6,950/t. Portside prices continued to decline this week, as sellers were under pressure to offload cargoes amid persistently dull demand.
