China’s coke production rises 7% y-o-y in Apr’25

According to National Bureau of Statistics, China’s coke production reached 41.6 mnt in Apr’25, up 7.1% y-o-y. Cumulative output in Jan-Apr’25 stood at 164.43 mnt, up 3.2%. Also, the output of industrial raw coal above designated size was 390 mnt in Apr, up 3.8% y-o-y, with an average daily output of 12.98 mnt. In Jan-Apr, raw coal output totalled 1,580 mnt, an increase of 6.6% y-o-y.
