Iranian mill concludes 60,000 t billet export tender

Iran’s Arfa Iron and Steel Company has concluded an export tender for 60,000 t of billets. The deal includes 30,000 t (150×150 mm 3SP/5SP) billets priced at $422/t FOB, and 30,000 t of low-carbon billets at $430/t FOB. Shipment is scheduled for end-May’25, Iran’s semi-finished steel exports in the last Persian Year (21 Mar’24-20 Mar’25) stood at 6.10 mnt, down 22% y-o-y, according to Petrometals data.
