Vizag Steel has floated a tender for export of various steel products including Billet, Blooms, Rounds, Structures and Cast Rounds. The company is offering a total quantity of 64,000 MT.
The company, in the tender issued, has offered around 10,000 MT of billet and 30,000 MT of bloom (150 X150 mm and 200X200 mm) and has scheduled the delivery of material to 31 Aug’16 on FoB Visakhapatnam Port or Gangavaram Port on the direct export basis. The last date for bid submission is till 18 Jul’16.

Last 55,000 MT billet/bloom export tender concluded at around USD 300- 305/MT
On 06 Jun’16, the company floated an export tender for 35,000 MT bloom and 20,000 MT billet with scheduled technical bids to close on 14 Jun’16.
Sources mentioned that the company has concluded bloom at USD 300-305/MT, FoB Vizag Port (Indian East Coast). Cargo was shipped to Bangladesh. Vessel freight is estimated at around USD 12-13/MT.
