Coking coal imports in India have risen by around 2.8% in Jun’16 in comparison with that in May’16.
During Jun’16, 4.35 MnT of Coking coal was imported into the country, according to SteelMint Research. In the previous month, the import volume was lower at 4.23 MnT.

Among the export regions, Australia accounted for the largest share of exports during the month under review.

The Paradip port had handled the highest import volume during the month, followed by the Dharma and Mormugao ports.
