Iran’s billet and rebar prices continued to climb up, supported by strong demand for long products, while flats witnessed a mild slowdown. Notably, billet and rebar prices have risen in early-May after hitting nearly 2-month lows in end-Apr.
- Billet tags were at 303,000 rial/kg on 7 May, an increase of 1,000 rial/kg from 5 May.
- Rebar prices stood at 360,000 rial/kg on 7 May, up by 2,000 rial/kg from 5 May.
