Rebar prices in Nepal declined by NPR 1,000/t due to sluggish domestic demand, with current offers at NPR 88,000/t for cash guarantee and NPR 90,000/t for bank guarantee as compared to NPR 89,000/t and NPR 91,000/t a week ago. Coiled wire rod offers were at $560/t exw Durgapur for IF-EAF, while offers for BF wire rods stood at $600/t exw.
