India: Over 200,000 t iron ore booked in Karnataka auctions on 30 Apr’25

Around 211,550 t of iron ore was booked in Karnataka auctions on 30 Apr’25.

• NMDC Donimalai: 8,000 t of lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 58%) and 16,000 t of fines (Fe 58%) sold at base prices of INR 4,224/t and INR 3,537/t, respectively.
• NMDC Kumaraswamy: 96,000 t of lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 63.4%) and 80,000 t of fines (Fe 56.03-60.46%) booked at 7% premium.
• R Praveen Chandra: 11,550 t of lumps (6-30 mm, Fe 57.5%) sold at base price of INR 5,050/t. Prices include royalty, DMF & NMET.
