India: DRCLO premium falls in latest NMDC Chhattisgarh iron ore auction

NMDC auctioned 210,700 t of iron ore from its Bacheli mines, Chhattisgarh, on 29 Apr’25.

• The entire 25,800-t DRCLO (10-40 mm, Fe 67%) offered was sold at a 4.5% premium over the base price (INR 7,130/t). This marks a steep decline from the 13% premium received at the 25 Apr auction.
• Around 184,900-t Baila fines (Fe 64%) received no bids.

Prices were on FOR, ex-stockpile/mines basis, including royalty, DMF, and NMET.
