Europe: Aperam announces stainless steel surcharges for May’25

Aperam, a leading global stainless steel producer, recently announced its surcharges on the sales of austenitic flat products for May’25. Post-revision, prices of the most-traded 304 (1.4301) grade stood at EUR 1,987/t ($2,256/t), down by EUR 105/t ($119/t) from EUR 2,092/t ($2,375/t) in Apr’25. Aperam has an annual production capacity of over 2.5 mnt of flat stainless steel, with facilities in Europe, South America, and Asia.
