India: Over 170,000 t of iron ore to be auctioned from Karnataka

Karnataka will see auctions of around 172,009 t of iron ore.

• U Krishna Prasad: 61,095 t of iron ore fines (Fe 61.62-65.40%) and 22,914 t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 61.15-62.62%) on 25 Apr’25, with floor prices set at INR 4,712-6,438/t and INR 5,750-5,970/t, respectively.
• SMIORE: 39,000 t lumps (5-20 mm, Fe 54.8-57%), 15,000 t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 55.3-57.4%), 10,000 t (20-40 mm, Fe 55-56%) and 24,000 t fines (Fe 53.6-62.8%) on 28 Apr.
• Prices include royalty, DMF and NMET.
