Serajuddin Mines, a merchant miner and exporter based in Odisha, with an annual production capacity of around 4 million tonnes, have raised iron ore lumps price by Rs 250 per tonne, however kept iron fines prices unchanged.
Prices have moved up in line with other big miners like Rungta and Essel raising their offers earlier this month. Trade sources highlight that strong demand from sponge iron manufacturers and low production during monsoons has made miners to raise their offers.
