Global crude steel production rises nearly 3% y-o-y in Mar’25: WSA

As per the World Steel Association (WSA), the 69 countries that report to it experienced a 2.9% y-o-y rise in crude steel production to 166.1 mnt in Mar’25.

• China’s output increased by 4.6% y-o-y to 92.8 mnt.
• India’s production rose by 7% y-o-y to 13.8 mnt.
• Japan’s production edged up by 0.2% y-o-y to 7.2 mnt.
